Job Description

DIVISA is looking for an experienced Business Development Director with strong business acumen and technical aptitude to head up business development efforts for our LA office. In this challenging and dynamic role, you will contribute to the development of our agency’s overall business development strategy, identify business opportunities, develop annual new business forecasts, create and implement sales strategies and drive new and repeat business while maintaining profitability and quality of service.



  • Proactively initiate new client relationships and leverage existing partnerships
  • Follow up and qualify new business leads and identify and prioritize growth opportunities
  • Package work, such as case studies and other agency capability materials based on input by DIVISA subject matter experts and senior leaders
  • Manage client and prospect meetings and presentations
  • Maintain a high level of performance at all times
  • Forecast and drive revenue growth



  • Minimum of 5 years experience of sales-focused roles in digital media, digital marketing, or digital advertising
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Sales, Marketing or related field or comparable work experience
  • Strong sales and business development skills, including identifying targets, understanding our clients and prospects’ unique needs, building trust, and establishing rapport
  • Proven proficiency in developing and presenting persuasive, articulate pitches to clients, including C-Level executives and large organizations
  • Have key contacts and knowledge in fashion, beauty, lifestyle and luxury industries
  • Knowledge of key platforms and channels in marketing, including but not limited to social media, paid media, search engine, email, influencer and others
  • A solid track record of developing successful relationships with senior-level decision makers
  • Confirmed and proven track record of closing major brands
  • Ability to relay technical solutions to all audiences (technical vs. business)
  • Proven ability to manage and set client expectations
  • Proven ability to multi-task and meet corresponding deadlines
  • Candidate must be open to travel as needed (domestic and international)
