Apr 26 Case Study: Line & Dot

In just 6 months, the results were dramatic:

  • 842% increase in number of keywords (branded & non-branded) ranked in Google Top 30
  • 7,224% increase in organic traffic
  • 310% increase in organic traffic revenue

Line & Dot is a women’s contemporary fashion brand based in Los Angeles, California. Line & Dot can be spotted around the globe on the everyday woman, top fashion bloggers, and celebrities alike. Retailers include specialty boutiques internationally in Australia, Italy, Japan, key US domestic retailers including Saks Fifth Avenue and Anthropologie, in addition to key online retailers including REVOLVE and Shopbop.

THE CHALLENGE

Line & Dot’s digital marketing challenge was that they did not have a methodical approach in capturing organic traffic and promoting the brand name online. They faced the critical need to develop strong online visibility and organic traffic to their own website and products. However, their web development and marketing groups were not equipped to deal with growing search competition and the ever-changing search environment.

THE SOLUTION

After running an analysis on Line & Dot’s competitors and conducting a thorough site audit, DIVISA planned a comprehensive enterprise-grade SEO strategy for the next 6 months that focused on fixing the on-page SEO issues, optimizing existing content and launching numerous link-building campaigns. This allowed Line & Dot to reap the benefits of enhanced visibility prior to the 2015 holiday seasons.

  • 842% increase in number of keywords (branded & non-branded) ranked in Google Top 30
